Only 52 tons of precious barley from Islay were malted to produce this edition Single-farm Octomore 09.3. Raised in Irene's field on Octomore Farm in 2011, this high-provenance single malt was then distilled and filled in 134 casks. Essentially a second fill, the smoother influence of wood allows more of the local barley flavors to flow through the legendary peat smoke.
