The Exploitation Agricole du Galion, founded in 1849, is a major player in the sugar production of Martinique. Since the beginning, it has supplied sugar cane to the Galion factory, which is the last sugar refinery still in operation on the island. Its history is truly one with that of Martinique, through the technical innovations, crises and economic booms that have followed one another for nearly two centuries.
The Exploitation Agricole de Galion owns and cultivates 500 hectares of sugar cane. It manages, if we add its lease contracts with small planters, nearly 750 hectares, which makes it the leading producer in Martinique with an average of 25 to 000 tonnes of cane harvested directly each year, and between 30 and 000 tonnes of cane harvested by small growers, or around 5% of the island's total production.
In the past, the company has already produced rum, in particular the Grand Arôme, but the new brand Baie des Trésors is of a completely different nature: It is now a question of the Exploitation Agricole du Galion creating and developing a range of exceptional rums. This project is nourished by a long-term vision: to produce grands crus of rum based on lands of excellence, proven know-how and a constant search for innovation in ageing.
It is a small, somewhat secluded and well sheltered bay, at the end of the Caravelle peninsula, popular with hikers and lovers of the beautiful nature of Martinique. This perfectly preserved little corner of paradise is called Baie du Trésor. A legend says that a treasure from an old shipwreck would hide under its waters. But other treasures, very real, are on the peninsula and around. These are all these small plots, all different and all wonderful, where cane has been grown for more than 170 years. They are the ones who give birth to
This fragmented agricultural white rum reveals wild and fresh tones. Baie des Trésors Plein Soleil opens with astonishing notes of rose, lychee and lemony citrus.
Perfectly positioned between North and South America and flanked by the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, Guatemala is a land rich in biodiversity and varied ecosystems. It also happens to have an enriched volcanic soil and an ideal climate for the cultivation of sugar cane, the raw material of Botran Premium rums.
Rums from Guatemala are also distinguished by their unique aging process at high altitudes in the highlands. The altitude and cooler temperature limit evaporation so the rums can adopt their individual taste profiles. Making 'high-rum' in this way is a unique art that has been carefully preserved and enriched over the years.
For more than six decades, Botran has been making rums in this great Guatemalan tradition. The Botran family's uncompromising commitment to quality and superior taste is present at every step of the process, from the cane fields to distillation, aging and final blending. We pride ourselves on not only aging our rums, but also genuinely nourishing them through a hands-on process.
This rum is aged under the Solera system in the highlands of Guatemala, using white oak and American whiskey casks that previously housed Sherry and Port.
Blend of ripe rums, distilled from concentrated virgin sugar cane syrup slowly fermented and aged for up to 15 years.

Compagnie des Indes rums are crafted with care and elegance. The idea arose from the Portuguese, English, Dutch and French East Indian companies of the XNUMXth and XNUMXth centuries, who selected rare commodities from distant lands and imported them into their respective countries. Like the latter, we select the best qualities of Rum and import them into France.
The Compagnie des Indes Rums are selected with great rigor. They are bottled in Single Casks or assembled, in order to bring out the typicity and quality of each destination.
Ti'Planteurs de Ced are the result of the combination of nectars, carefully selected fruit juices and AOC rhum agricole from Martinique.
