WHISKEY SQUADRON 303 BLENDED MALT FEEDOM WHISKEY 44 ° 70CL
Squadron 303 was the Royal Air Force's most formidable squadron during WWII. It was made up of Polish pilots, who introduced vodka to their English brothers in arms. In exchange, the latter introduced the Polish pilots to the finer points of Irish, Scottish or English whiskeys. Many stories relate this growing interest of the pilots of Squadron 303 for the good whiskeys that they discover as they move on to the bases of the Royal Air Force in England or Scotland.
The adventure of Whiskey Squadron 303 begins not far from the Royal Air Force base in Turnhouse, a few kilometers from Edinburgh in Scotland. This Single Malt was discovered in a demijohn dating from 1940, a perfectly preserved juice that we imagine served in the pubs of Edinburgh of the time frequented by the pilots of Squadron 303.
From this extremely rare Single Malt was born the idea of creating a first edition of Squadron 303 blend. Freedom and that we will baptize… the Blend of Freedom!

House of McCallum is a new collection of Scottish whiskeys designed by Antony McCallum, a maltster, blender and creator of exceptional whiskeys, with 24 years of experience in the Scotch whiskey industry.
The McCallum clan is one of the oldest noble clans in Scotland on the west coast of Scotland. The ancestors date back to some of the earliest kings of Scotland. King Malcolm I was the first King of Scotland to unite the two tribes, the Picts and the Scots into one kingdom, in order to defend Scotland from Anglo-Saxon invasions.
House of McCallum consists of two distinct ranges: the Art of Whiskey collection and the vintage Auld Alliance and Art of Rum collection.
A collection of rare barrels selected for their exceptional character and some finished in old wine barrels from the country of the Auld Alliance and beyond. At the time, Scotland not only exported its whiskey to France, but it also imported barrels of wine for consumption, which were then used to store the whiskey.
A bit of history: The Auld Alliance, from the ancient Scottish spelled Ald Allyance or in Scottish Gaelic, An Seann-Chaidreachas), was a sealed alliance between the French and Scottish kingdoms. Even though the Treaty of Edinburgh of 1560 was supposed to nullify most of its features, the spirit of the treaty continued with the Mary Queen of Scots refusing to ratify the treaty and after that unwritten support remained in place. The historic ties that unite Scotland with France and the rest of Europe have been in place since 1295 and will continue to mark the culture and future of this country.
The House of McCallum Vintage collection represents casks from different regions, different styles, some unique casks and others from distilleries distilled on the same day and from the same still. Each bottle of each keg is unique. Some are finished in handcrafted wine barrels selected from small wine producers and are handpicked by him.
WHISKEY BRUICHLADDICH BLACK ART 1992 EDITION 05.1, 24 YEARS OLD, SINGLE MALT, ISLAY, SCOTLAND, 70 CL 48.4 °
The 1er "black art" by Adam Hannet, Master Distiller. This whiskey is made from 100% Scottish barley and Islay spring water.
Black art is unpeated, distilled and aged on Islay.
Kept secret, the type of cask is only known by Adam. Bottled brut from cask at an alcohol volume of 48,4% Vintage 1992, 24 years old is the 5th edition of a cult and innovative series in terms of exploration of barrels.
It takes time to decipher the mysteries offered by Black Art 5. The key may be to let your hand warm the glass. Then you will discover notes of cherries, mango, apricots, quetsches, a little orange, wrapped in a cover of brown sugar, vanilla and dried figs.
It is with grace and delicacy, despite a touch of insolence, that the whiskey decides to caress your palate; the influence of precious wood is expressed through notes of fruit that linger in the mouth. On the nose are affirmed quetsche, mango, pineapple, melon, prune and apricot. The oak that rocked the whiskey gives it a hint of honey, tobacco, vanilla, and a hint of cinnamon, if one is careful.
