Central Otago's long, dry autumns are the perfect place to produce an iconic pinot noir. The region's wide daytime temperature range is complemented by extremely favorable soil and microbiota conditions, resulting in fruit that captures the unique feel of this rugged and dramatic region.
100% destemmed, 10 months in old French oak
The Willamette Valley begins at the Columbia River in Portland and extends south through Salem to the Calapooya Mountains near Eugene. The Coast Range marks its western boundary, and the Cascade Mountains border its eastern edge.
The climate here is generally mild, with cool, wet winters and hot, dry summers, although temperatures and rainfall vary as well.

Founded by Adriano Ramos Pinto in 1880, Maison Ramos Pinto quickly became a benchmark thanks to the impact of its exports, especially to South America. A very efficient global approach supported by avant-garde promotion have been the keys to its success. This has not been denied since, especially in 1990, Ramos Pinto found a buyer of choice in the Champagne house Louis Roederer.

A crazy concept of Mario Lopez and Fernando Mora, The Garage Wine makes wines from very old vines of the Mario family in the region of Valdejalon (between DO Calatayud and Cariñena) in .... a garage!
Small yields, work in minimal intervention in the vineyard (certified organic), harvest by hand in several sortings, vinification in concrete vats, punching down, passage in barrels (optional), no filtration, no fining, S02 only at the low volume bottling.

The Delicato family owns several estates on the oldest Californian terroirs. This family is in its third generation and has been vinifying in California for more than 80 years (which for the USA is important…) according to standards that are ever more respectful of nature.
This wine comes from one of the oldest production areas in Napa, more precisely in the Lodi Valley.
This region, one of the first planted in California, boasts the highest concentration of old Zinfandel vines in the world.
Gabriëlskloof is on a rise in the Botrivier valley between two mountain ranges; the Houwhoek Range to the north and the Babylonstoren Range to the south. The farm is 15 km from the Atlantic Ocean in Hawston as the crow flies, and the vineyards benefit from the cooling sea breezes.
A total of 12 grape varieties are planted on the property on various soils. From the highest and windiest plots around the winery itself where they grow Sauvignon Blanc, to the rocky and less productive vines on the northern slope that supply Syrah on sandstones, special attention has been paid to the suitability of each plot for each respective vine
The farm is home to hundreds of varieties of native Cape fynbos and a host of local animals, including a troop of Cape baboons, a multitude of birds and the occasional mountain leopard.

The 10 Year Old Quinta de Ervamoira follows the Tawny Reserva in the order of aging within the Tawnies family. It is a blend with an average age of around 10 years. We enter the world of complexity of an aged Tawny. Its brick-red or even golden colors carry us to the Orient spices, spicy and exotic aromas, shrouded in mystery. This is where the magical path opens to the 20 and 30 years. Its body and its wealth of tastes transport us to the place where it was born - the "Quinta de Ervamoira"! It is in this mystical, almost biblical landscape that this wine is torn from the shale, from the silence, for our greatest pleasure. It is entirely contained in the AVA of Willamette Valley and extends from the city of amity north to Salem South. The hills Aeolian et amity cover an area west of the willamette river approximately 24 km long and 10 km wide.
A very beautiful pinot noir with very fine tannins and notes of red fruits (strawberry, raspberry).
