WHISKEY THE MATSUI MIZUNARA CASK SINGLE MALT JAPAN 48°
KURAYOSHI DISTILLERS
Kurayoshi is located in central Japan in TOTTORI prefecture, north-west of Osaka
Aged in Mizunara oak barrels.
Mizunara is known for its rarity and the difficulty in working its tight grain into barrels. Spirits aged in this type of oak acquire unique and original flavors. Aging takes place in Tottori Prefecture in a natural environment where temperatures vary widely from season to season. It is then diluted with high quality natural spring water from Mont Daisen.
Blend of whiskeys aged 3 to § years respecting the initial recipe, i.e. a triple maturation: Bourbon casks - Cider cask - Quarter cask of 50L
The water used for refining is drawn from a source close to the cellars.
