Hidden loot dark reserve family naud 70cl 41°
HIDDEN LOOT DARK RESERVE FAMILY NAUD 70CL 41 °

Spirit Drink

Like the Original Version, Dark Reserve is the result of a happy meeting between the NAUD families - Master Distillers Charentais - and the owners of a sugarcane Hacienda in the Province of Herrera whose founder created the first mill to Panama sugar in 1908 and which would become the country's very first distillery in 1936. This long sugar tradition is reflected in the quality of the molasses rum selected for the Hidden Loot range. After two years of aging in Bourbon barrels, the rum is transported in high degree from the Caribbean Sea to our Atlantic coast. There it is enriched with fines spices and natural aromas such as bigarade orange or tonka bean, and subtly underlined by bird's eye pepper.

Plantation pineapple stiggins fancy 70cl 40°
Plantation Pineapple Stiggins Fancy 70cl 40°

Spirit drink

Victoria pineapples are peeled by hand. The peel of the pineapple is infused with Plantation 3 Stars for a week and then distilled while the flesh of the pineapple is infused with the original Plantation Dark for several months. Then the distillate and the infusion are assembled. The production of Plantation Pineapple is very limited since it is linked to the seasons of the Victoria Pineapple.

Alexandre Gabriel wanted to bring up to date the “Pineapple delicacy” so dear to the English of the Victorian era. The Reverend Stiggins imagined by Charles Dickens in the Pickwick Papers was also a great fan! In collaboration with historian David Wondrich and after much research, Plantation Pineapple Rum was born.

Rum plantation 3 stars 70cl 41.20°
Rum Plantation 3 Stars 70cl 41.20°

For the Plantation 3 Étoiles, Alexandre Gabriel decided to use a rum from Trinidad aged for three years and filtered according to a method specific to Maison Ferrand to keep its light straw color and eliminate the heaviest tannins, while retaining the aromas. developed and refined by aging. Unaged rums from Barbados and Jamaica are paired with very old Jamaican rums. Jamaican rum is an expensive but essential ingredient for the taste of the finished product. Each rum brings its own characteristics. As Alexandre Gabriel says, “it's the beauty of the blend, you can capture the best of each product: Trinidad brings elegance and refinement, Barbados brings character and aromatic palette, with hints of fruit, without being too heavy, while Jamaica brings this slightly wild taste, the final touch that makes the
complete product. "

White rum dzama prestige nosy-be 42° 70cl
WHITE RUM DZAMA PRESTIGE NOSY-BE 42 °

In 1981, a visionary man shook up the consumption habits of his compatriots who were content with poor quality rum, generally too chopped, and which everyone arranged as they could according to their means.

Lucien Fohine discovers that the sugar factory on the island of Nosy-Bé located in the North West of the Big Island of Madagascar produces an alcohol with unique and persistent flavors. After investigations, he deduced that this is due to the roots of ylang-ylang which intermingle with those of the cane and the aromas of cloves, pepper trees and vanilla which grow in abundance in the region and whose perfumes even after distillation.

This rum is the first rum created by Lucien Fohine, founder of Compagnie Vidzar, when he moved to the island of Nosy-Bé in 1982. Although there is no longer any rum production on this island, Franck Fohine, his son and successor at the head of the company, wanted to keep this rum in the range in honor of his father. The name has therefore been retained (Blanc DE NOSY-BE), as well as the degree, 42 °, even if it is significantly higher than the current demand. Indeed, the population of the island of Nosy-Bé, to whom rum was addressed, is a maritime population, eager to recognize its strength and therefore strong alcohol.
